Filling materials

Conserving teeth and gentle preparation, with perfect esthetic results - this is the performance of modern adhesive technics together with modern filling materials. The basic chemistry has not changed dramatically in the last years: organic polymers and co-polymers are further on in the neighbourhood of filler particles: the compositions make the differences.

Beside the micro filler composites for anterior indications the classical micro hybrid composites have also claimed a high quality standard. Quality in this sense means a good handling, a low shrinkage, a high abrasion resistance and the well-tolerance.

With FANTESTIC ® X we offers a micro filled composite for anterior restorations of classes III-V with a good handling, a good polishability and a very good esthetic.

The micro hybrid composite FANTESTIC ® FILL is a high-esthetic and low priced universal composite for classes I-V.

The nano-ceramic micro hybrid composites unifies the advantages of micro filler composites with the advantages of posterior composites. FANTESTIC ® FILL Ceram shows as a result of the filler matrix a very good polishability and a very high abrasion resistance.

For restorations of classes I-II FANTESTIC ® ContactPoint is the micro hybrid composite, which will convince you in price and performance: good handling, no stickyness and a nearly perfect modelling character ("ContactPoint").

On the way to more and more biocompatible filling materials are the new fluorapatite-containing ApaLife ®-composites.

ApaLife ® FILL and ApaLife ® FLOW are composites with biocompatible nano-fluorapatite fillers. The ApaLife ®-filling materials have re-mineralising characteristics. The re-mineralising depends on a chemical exchange of fluoride ions and calcium ions between the ApaLife ®-filling material and the tooth. As a result such a re-mineralising leads to a re-crystallisation of the apatite containing tooth structure. Because of the fluoride release of the ApaLife ®-filling materials and the incorporation of the fluoride ions at the same time into the hexagonal apatite matrix, the acid solubility of the crystallites on the surface betweeen toothstructure and restorative material is reduced.

Additionally the anti-bacteriological character of the fluoride ions amplifies the caries protection. The ApaLife ®-composites show excellent abrasion resistances and very high mechanical strengths and comparable to commercial composites lower shrinkages.

Modern adhesive technics will force the use of modern composites. Because of a mutually agreed polymer chemistry in biocompatible solutions high adhesive strenghts and perfect sealings will be reached, see FANTESTIC ® FLOWSIVE, - FLOWSIVE 2, - FLOWSIVE ACTIVATOR und - FLOWSIVE SE.

All FANTESTIC ®- and ApaLife ®-products are mutually agreed to each other, and because of their universal chemistry, they can be used with other materials. Keep attention on the instruction for use of other manufacturers - or do not hesitate to ask us.
